ABOUT
I am an experienced secondary teacher with close to 15 years in the classroom, teaching subjects including Business Studies, Economics, Legal Studies, English, PDHPE, Science, and Technology.
Alongside my teaching career, I completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and have undertaken extensive professional learning in programming, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. My work has focused on how emerging technologies can be used responsibly to improve student learning, feedback, and exam preparation.
I have been involved in introducing AI-supported learning tools within school environments, including collaboration around platforms such as Cogniti, developed by Professor Danny Liu. These experiences led to the creation of LearnStudio / Sando, a purpose-built AI learning environment designed specifically for NSW HSC students.
The platform enables students to:
practise multiple-choice, short-response, and extended-response questions
receive clear, timely feedback to improve exam technique
submit handwritten work easily using photo upload, reducing unnecessary screen distraction
Earlier versions of these tools, developed using emerging AI technologies, have already supported thousands of student learning interactions.
